I did develop a very big issue post op but they were never able to tell me for sure that the two had anything to do with one another. About 3 months post op I developed a problem in my macula that progressed very quickly. I was too young for it to be called 'macular degeneration' but that is exactly what it is. It is noted in my file at HRRH I guess for the sake of research in the program. *shrug*
