Gallbladder removal with RNY

Has anyone had their gallbladder removed at the same time of their RNY?  What can one expect for recovery?  Has anyone had issues or problems afterwards? 

Funny thing is  I just posted about having my gallbladder removed yesterday . I asked the same question to my surgeon and her reply was if your gallbladder was functioning ok prior to RNY then OHIP will not pay to have it removed during the RNY surgery. Once she was able to determine that my gallbladder was the issue then OHIP was more than happy to pay for the removal surgery

I had my gallbladder removed at the same time as my RNY.  I had some discomfort which they said was probably from the gallbladder removal. It wasn't that bad, I would do it all over again!
