Got my surgeon appointment September 27 and my trios December 9. I'm going to Humber anyone want to share with me their experience or what to expect.

Don't expect too much from the surgeon appointment. The first time meeting him went very fast but a long wait in the waiting room. My Dr is Dr. Klein.

The trio appointment will be a bit more time consuming. You'll have blood work done, and be checked out medically and emotionally.  My best advice is to study the papers you got at orientation.  They want to know that you understand all that is going to happen. The surgery itself, what possible complications can arise, and the stages (including lengths) of eating the month after surgery. They want to know that you are prepared and hear that you are making positive changes in your life now (for example giving up pop and eating whole grain breads). It's not a requirement that you lose weight now, but are making changes. You have a good knowledge of those orientation papers, you'll do fine.

Congratulations, and best of luck!
