Hello my friend!
I'm going to have surgery soon and I would like details from you what and how it was, I already got the date when it will take place and I'm very afraid. How do you feel after several years? Is everything ok?

Topic: RE: I am new, I am ready to get real help, but I have so many questions

Hi Christa,

I was on ODSP for years and tried to do the non surgical route. I would have had to pay for all of my vitamins the optifast and everything else out of pocket, but this was 4 years ago.

I would suggest talking to your worker and explaining what you would like to do and the cost associated with it things may have changed but at the time Optifast wasn't cover because it doesn't have DIN number.

Even taking the surgical route you are required to pay for optifast for at least four weeks ($274) where I am and at least $75 for the bariatric vitamins. Plus possible travel depending on where you live (which you can get an advance travel grant for through odsp). Like I said your best bet is to gather all the information on your specific cost and talk to your worker they may be able to access funds to help but from my experience they could not help me.

I had the same problems about 2 years ago. And I immediately turned to a trichologist, then an endocrinologist, and they prescribed me effective drugs that restored my hair. Therefore, you need to go to the doctor as soon as possible. I'm surprised you write about it on the forum as if there are qualified specialists here who will help you... By the way, when my hair started to fall out, I thought I would turn to the hair transplant clinic because I no longer had the strength to endure it... It's good that everything has recovered.

it is not unusual to have osteoporosis at this age. You can talk to your doctor about bone builders
