Totally forgot to add this update until I saw Nan's response to my other one.

I believe I got this update either Sunday or Monday from Patti:

Hi Everyone!   Hailey was taken off of the ventilator and put on a cpap machine on Saturday night.  Today Lisa said Hailey is off a lot of the medications she had been on, but is now struggling with her breathing.  She has a lot fluid in her lungs.  The doctors are trying other things to get rid of the fluid as they don't want to put her back on the ventilator.  Please keep praying for Lisa, Russ and Hailey!!  She's a fighter for sure, but she can still use all of our prayers to help her along!   Thanks!   Patti
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

She is actually back on the vent as of overnight.  But...she is a fighter and maybe being back on the vent will allow her body to focus on other areas rather than putting all her focus on struggling with the breathing.

Thanks for the update.  I'm pulling for her and can certainly feel the anguish that her parents must be going through.

thanks for the updates yal. what a rough start... wonder if there is anything we can do for them? This must be a drain financially as well as emotionally. I mean i parked in Center City this weekend for one night 22 dollars!! Really??

What about a gift certificate for groceries...then someone could go do the shopping for them.  Patti probably knows best what lisa does and doesnt eat ( i know she doesnt eat meat except for chicken).

We could also chip in for gas/parking or train tickets...Although, at this point, they are probably driving because of the c-section.

Hi Everyone!

Right now I think Russ and Lisa are pretty much spending every minute at the hospital.  I would suggest that if anyone wants to chip in for parking, tolls, gas, etc that would probably be best.  (If Russ isn't with Lisa at the hospital, I know her Mom and step dad are with her, so they are definitely driving and parking.)

what about a Visa giftcard so they can use it for whatever? Gas, Tolls, Parking, Food at the Hospital etc

Maybe if someone has a paypal account we could do it that way so we don't have to worry about getting checks/cash etc in the mail. Then someone can buy a card and sign all the names or print out the messages.
