Topic: surgery in a few days and I have a cold.....
I just wanted to know my surgery is scheduled for Wednesday and I have a cold, can that affect my surgery in any way. Its pretty much a common cold ....like runny nose.....Yyyyuck...

OMG I am so very very excited!! its been such a long wait but its here!!!! Surgery is scheduled on October 18th.. 5 days before my 30th Birthday! (happy birthday to me!!)
Latley I have been feeling a little down and out. I have been recently (2 weeks ago) been diagnosed with Hyperplasacia with atipia and complex modules.. bascally a hormonal cancer of the endrometrom (uterus) that has a 25% chance of turning into cervical cancer if not caught quickly enough.. It was found on a whim.. and my chances as they stand are very few of having children. a hystorectamy is in my future..hopefully after having a baby!!
So yea its been a sad couple of weeks.. and now GOOD NEWS!!!!!! Crossing my fingers that weight loss helps my baby factory sitution!
I am so ready for this!! BRING IT ON!!!
I start Optifast on Oct 4th for 2 weeks..
I have a D&C (a uteren scraping to test how advanced the cancer is) on Octover 15th...
and WLS on October 18th!!!!! at RocklandMD with Dr Denis!!

DId you get the drain put in? I know that some doctors do and some don't, I am not sure why.
Did they mention to you how much your food take in will eventually be?? Like would it be
1/4 cup or 1/2 cup?? I know that some doctors vary on the percentage they remove.
Did the whole thing seem surreal to you? I am finding that I can't believe this is happening.
I stayed up all night last night just thinking of what my life will be like afterwards.....
ONLY 1 1/2 weeks left!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Thank you Elenda....I am trying a different protien shake I bought at the nutrition shop.
I like it better. It also has PGX in it. The taste is good....let's see what gives...lol..:)
I have a week and a half before surgery!!! I can't say I'm not nervous!
Oh and good for you on the 16 pounds...holy molly that's amazing!!!

I use restoralax ....it is tasteless and works gently within 12-24hrs MOM also works but I'm not big on the taste
