I'm in AZ now. I grew up right where Lawrence Exp and 280 and Stevens Creek all intersect. Now Dad lives at Saratoga and Williams.

It's an awesome place (except for all those OTHER people who think the same thing) 

Wow, I live like a mile from your dad.  Let me know if you ever come out to visit.

D'you know Terri R? I don't know if she goes to support meetings....she used to be a fixture here on OH, she had the same surgeon as you, turned into an exercise junkie! One of my fave OH people! 

 Not sure if I know Terri.  People rarely use names, so I only know a couple of people at group.  But I'll see next month.

Hijack!  Hi Auntiekim.  You're one of the first ones on here that I see had Dr. Legha, and almost a year after me to the day.  How funny!  How are you doing?  Do you go to the monthly support group meetings?  I'm there every month.

well hey there Mama!  I've been to the last 3 meetings.  I LOVE them.  After reading some of the horror stories here from people who have virtually no support system, I am even more thankful for the group at CMG.  And I cannot say enough good things about Dr Legha.  During the whole pre-op process I found a lump (turned out to be a cyst, thankfully) and he removed it.  I was terrified and he was so comforting.  He will always hold a special place in my heart.  We'll have to make an effort to seek eachother out at the next meeting.  We're (my husband comes too!) usually there a bit early since we go straight from work.  We usually sit so that we're facing forward towards the front of the room.  See you at the next meeting.  Thanks for replying!  I've not yet seen anyone from Dr Legha here.

Great!  I'll look for you then.  I'm the one that talked about the half marathons last month, and having problems with evening snacking.  I agree with everything about our group and Dr. Legha.  We really have a complete program.

Amen to uneventful. After the whirlwind of work I've had to do to get ready, I am looking forward to it, if only for the chance to relax for a couple of weeks without guilt!
