Need the vitamin companies to make a super constipation pill

while I know there are probably no Vitamin R and D people here I will discuss my idea.

Since 6 weeks after surgery I have been battling constipation.  The advice on this board and talking to my doctor / NUT have helped.

Basically I am taking more stuff for constipation then my vitamins now.

So I propose a super pill (possibly a chewable) that contains:
-Stool softeners
-Fiber supplement
-Magnesium
-Laxative (like Mir A Lax)

if it won't throw things off maybe add calcium to it too to lessen the number of pills a bariatric patient needs to take each day.

I would think such a pill should be taken twice a day (midday and night) so as not to interfere with the iron in the AM.

LOL. We can only dream. VitaLady sells a 500mg calcium citrate capsule with vit D and magnesium. That help me cut down on how often I took calcium plus the benefit of magnesium for constipation! I switched from ferrous sulfate iron to a less constipating carbonyl iron. I also switched my multi vit, which had iron to the generic Centrium silver, which doesn't have iron.

Vitamin Shoppe has one too that I see.  Has enough Calcium for the entire day plus Magnesium Oxide.  Should I be worried about getting too much Vitamin C, D, or E though since this amount is in addition to my multi vitamin:

It has the wrong kind of calcium in it, plus we can't absorb no more than 600mg at a time. Remember to space your calcium and iron 2 hours apart.

wow!. a serving is 5 tablets...so you will need to take a minimum of 8-10/day to meet 1500-2000mg of calcium daily requirements.

many of these require 4-5 pills so you can take half midday and 1/2 in the evening.  This should satisfy the 500mg limit on Calcium.  Still easier since it is only 1 pill to buy vs 2-3 if taken separately.  Especially easier when traveling.
