Hi there- I am two years out and take bariatric fusion with iron daily. I have now had several incidents of flushing and itching after taking my vitamin. It's not every time. I have read about niacin flushing and wonder if anyone else has had this and what vitamins you take instead. I can't do chewable- they make me gag.

Thank you!!!

I don't know of a common multivitamin with no niacin. Consult your pharmacist or just read labels to see if you can find one.

I've never had the niacin thing but I take 2 Centrun Silver per day and take preferrin separately for iron.

I also use Proferrin Heme iron. It absorbs better and has no conflict with calcium citrate

Try a multi-vitamin with niacinaide (a form of niacin that does not cause flushing).
