GRATEFUL POST...

Wow.. What a day.. I had such a great time yesterday spending time with my family.. This is the first real outdoor get together since my surgery and it was a blast.. I have several things to be grateful for.. I am grateful... That my nephew found one of the two rubber bands that I wear in honor of my Grandmother after I lost it yesterday.. That I was able to do all sorts of physical activities yesterday and still wake up today.. LOL.. I shot skeet, went fishing, hiking and yes even rode a horse... I can't believe I didn't get pics of me on the horse.. That I have such a wonderful family.. That in spite of having a huge knot and bruise on my arm from shooting about 60 rounds out of a shotgun I can still type this morning.. That I had this wonderful surgery that allowed me to do all this and still be able to walk and talk.. Thanks to all the people involved in me having this surgery.. That the sun is shining.. Sounds like a great day, Ramon. Seems like your family is very close. That's awesome. I'm grateful for my family too. I've got two boys 17 and 16 and a daughter who will be 13 this summer. They are awesome. I have a husband who has loved me big and small. It's a beautiful day here in southeast Texas. I'll be in the Hill Country this weekend to visit my folks and walk in the Capital 10,000. We've done it for more than 20 years. This year I'll actually finish well instead of barely finish. I am grateful that the snow went away yesterday in time for me to wear my new Easter outfit! I am grateful for this surgery that helped me get into this cute LITTLE Easter outfit! I'm grateful for the beautiful music I heard at church yesterday. And, once again, I'm grateful for all the Easter represents. Thank you, Lord! God bless all y'all! XOXO Charlene

Sounds like you had a blast Ramon...I hope to go horseback riding this summer...I havent done that since I was 12. I am grateful for my family and all the time I was able to spend with them...especially my neice and nephews. I am grateful for my voice and that I sing with my church choir...I really love doing that. I am grateful for the sunshine today..it is turning into a gorgeous day! I am grateful for my job...the people I work with are great and so supportive of me.
