From Bad to WORSE..

Do Not reply to this because I don't want sympathy I just want to vent.. I thought that today was going to be a good day.. I knew my car had been acting up so I took it to the shop.. Well now I know why it had been acting up.. A Freaking busted head gasket.. Son of a biscuit eater.. Well it looks like it will be about $800 and a week before I have wheels again.. Okay I am done.. Thank you all for letting me vent.. now have a good day..

Well, I'm replying too... I'm sure you won't hold it against me. I'm sorry about the car trouble. My last couple of weeks have included being laid off and then I found out the used car I bought in December neees a new engine due to a screw-up at the dealership when they were getting it ready to sell. Me, too! Mine was the alternator that suddenly fried itself. I was on my way from Round Rock to Victoria when there was a loud noise under my hood and every red light on my dash came on at once! Funny thing is it happened right in front of an auto repair place that specializes in Japanese cars (I drive a Nissan). It was at the very edge of civilization--another few miles and I would have been out in the country with my two-year-old daughter. Also, it was just a few minutes before 5:00. Another few minutes and there would have been no one around to take my car and give me a loaner. So, even though I couldn't really afford the repair very well right now, I suppose I feel glad for the blessing of breaking down right in front of a place that could help me. Sorry about your car.
