GRATEFUL POST

Good Morning fellow TMB'ers.. I hope this morning is the beginning of a great week for all of us.. I know that the time change is tough to get used to.. And when we do they will change back.. But just think that we have one more hour of daylight do some exercise or something nice for someone.. I am grateful... That our little team from podunk Hamilton went to the big city of Austin and won our basketball tourney.. We won our first game 27-8 and then the second 22-18.. That my youngest nephews, " the little fools" wanted to ride bikes yesterday because we rode for three miles.. That I made it to the Austin dinner and met some wonderful and funny people there.. Also that they accepted me as one of their own.. That the plants that I planted last week are still alive.. That no matter what happens today I am going to have a good attitude.. So I hope.. Hey Ramon..... Thanks so much for coming to the dinner on Sat night...it was so fun to get to know you better...you are one awesome dude!!!!! I have some pics to forward to you if you want...just let me know.... I am grateful that I got tons done this weekend....I had so much to do.... I am grateful that I have a great God that will continue to take care of all of my family and friends battling cancer (one is having surgery today)....I know He will take care of them just like He wants.... Going to have a good attitude today too...despite this cranky plateau I am on...lol..... Take Care, Ann -70 pounds (and holding...but not for long!)

I have to say that Saturday night was fun.. If you all can ever make it to an Austin dinner these ladies are a hoot.. I so had a great time Ann.. I am grateful that there is someone who continually reminds us that there are always things to be grateful for even in those tough times.... I am grateful for all of my blessings when there are others who do not have...... I am grateful for my family, friends, and loved ones..... I am grateful for this surgery and the new life that I have..... I am grateful for spring and all that it brings! Susan

Susie.. It is good to stay grounded.. Although I have lost over 200 pounds I know that I am just lucky to have had the surgery.. I feel for people that are struggling with the insurance companies.. And seeing them makes me realize how lucky I am.. That is one of the reasons I count my blessings.. PEACE 464/409/235/214

Good morning, Texas! I am grateful for everyone who came to the Fort Worth dinner Saturday evening. It was a small group this month but there was one person there *****ally needed us and I'm grateful we were there for her. I'm grateful for the love God puts in my heart for the people on this board. I love you all so much! Yes, that includes you, Ramon! I am grateful that I live in Texas in the springtime and get to enjoy the blue bonnets. I am grateful for the 26 years the world got to have Pope John Paul II. I continue to pray that the leaders of the Catholic Church will be able to find a replacement who is as dedicated to world peace as was John Paul II. Have a wonderful week TMB! XOXO Charlene

Morining all...........I am still asleep so this will be brief I am grateful that I woke up before the alarm went off I got a surprise visit this weekend from my parents and got to spend time with them as well as go see my uncle and aunt I haven't seen in ages. It was sort of sad to see how they are all aging. Funny how I still think of them being 50 something and I then I realize ...........hey I'm the one who is almost 51. Anyway, it was fun to see them because my aunt and uncle had not seen me since losing weight.........of course I got the lecture about I am too thin and DON'T lose anymore weight! I am grateful for the 26 years of leadership the Catholic church had under Pope John Paul II. I am grateful for the beautiful weekend we had. The weather was gorgeous. I am grateful for improved health and the opportunity to live better. I am grateful for a good job working with wonderful people. I am grateful to have such a loving family and the support they give me. I am grateful for my wonderful WOW moment my little boy gave me this weekend. I am grateful for having eyes to read and my first grade teacher who taught me how to do so ! How I love to read !!!
