30 Day Challenge Day 24

On to Day 24...which I'm not liking too much.

Stick to the plan...gain wt...totally crappy, but I will beat this challenge in the end!

I stepped on the dang scale this morning and was up 1.6 lbs.   It wasn't like I had eaten cake or cookies or fried food...what's up w/ this.  Did feel really bloated in the stomach area,but there's no reason for it.  Maybe I had a few too many raisins or almonds, but can't imagine that would have caused it.  I hope it's sodium and will magically disappear in the next day or two.

Yesterday:
coffee protein latte
128 oz. liquids
EaS Advantedge protein drink
decaf protein coffee
1 c seafood jambalaya...which was in freezer...did taste salty and was a lot of rice
1/2 c pinto beans
1/2 c raisins
1/3 c almonds
1.5 c taco soup

today:
protein coffee latte
lots of liquids
EAS Advantedge protein drink
? for lunch...going out to eat for conference w/ diagnosticians
Chili for dinner
snack: hi protein...yogurt or cottage cheese

Looks like everybody is doing a great job...love getting to read posts from each day...How did ya'll do yesterday and what's the plan for today?

Here's to sticking w/ it...no matter if we're up or down on the scale!

Morning, Karla!  I'm doing fine...haven't gotten on the scale lately-it's in the garage & it's too danged cold to go out there. lol

My plan for the day is the same as yesterday:
Protein shake for breakfast, Dreamfield's penne & homemade spaghetti sauce, lots of water.  Don't know what's for dinner.  Maybe a South Beach pizza.  Morning vitamins are in.

I did weigh yesterday, and I am down 5.2 pounds from last week, making my total loss 17 and some ounces....HOWEVER  I have the flu sooo I'm sure that 5.2 pounds is from running a high fever, and not being able to eat.
I have been eating the heck out of blackberries!!  frozen blackberries, OH YUM!!  
I hope everyone is warm and safe, our school district closed today due to the road contions...
well heading back to bed....

Mel - I was sitting over here, reading your post and getting very jealous until I saw the part about flu - I'm sooooo sorry!!!!

LOL  I know I hate even posting it...however it will give me something to work on this week....LOL
I hate being sick, thank goodness the school is closed today, I don't need to use a sick day...LOL

Day 24....Wow.

Well, yesterday was pretty good. I even made tacos for dinner last night and my hubby ate with us. I felt so special!! He never eats with us unless it's us going to a restaurant.

NO IDEA what today is going to yield since I have no idea whether I'm going to work or not. The roads are icy and all the districts surrounding me are closed.
So, if I stay home

B-eggs & cheese
S- protein shake
L- ham and swiss
s- sf pudding
D- left over taco fixings (meat, cheese, sour cream) Yum
Water and vits

I had a really good food day yesterday UNTIL last night...why do I graze so much while watching TV?  I ate a cup of salty pistachios plus 1/4 cup of raisenettes.  Then I wonder why the scale is UP 0.8 today.  All totalled yesterday I ate 1500 calories and got in 93 gm of protein.  A "normal" person wouldn't gain on that so why do we?  Oh, this weight thing is such a mystery.  Anyway, I'm still in range and hopefully will get in some exercise today.  It's so cold and slippery I'm not going to try to go to the gym, so I guess it's another session with "Maya", my Wii personal trainer. 

I better go make a protein shake and come up with a plan for the other 2 meals today.  It certainly is too cold to grill outside so I better think of a high protein indoor meal.

Time to shout out to some people...Loni, Jenny, Patsy, Lalocaweta, Susan, Dana, Sandi...where are you ladies???  I have a list of goals for you ladies on the original post and haven't heard from you lately.  Hope you're doing well and let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

I did it!! I did it!! Got my BMI under 30! I'm officially OVERWEIGHT!!!

Next goal is 175.
