Good morning y'all!! Don't know about where you are but our little bit of ice is gone. The drive home last night from the p/t job was a little scary cause the flyover on the toll road still looked wet but I didn't feel any ice under the tires. I hate icy weather...sure am glad we got very little & am hoping & praying everyone is now thawed out.
Working till 9:30 tonight at the p/t job but it is my Friday. I'm sooo tired this morning. I'm seeing my pcp tomorrow morning about my tummy and then I don't know what I'm doing but I won't be working! YIPPEE

WOOOOOOHOOOOO for Thursday! I made it in to work today and the only ice I saw was UNDER the overpasses and then it was thick and dangerous looking..... I didn't slip or slid any though.... Working from home is great, but I sure did miss the gym.... I managed a full hour of the fat burning program on the recumbent bike and it felt GOOOD!
Prayers are going out to all that need them!

Managed to get out a little yesterday- to Target-and believe it or not the iciest part was in front of the store! Evidently they'd put rock salt down but it melted and re-froze. I took a picture of our piddly ice for my northern friends and sent it to them and got pictures back of several feet of snow! I tried to explain to them that we're not prepared for this!
I've lost my gloves and would you believe that Target doesn't sell them anymore??? They had bathing suits but no gloves! So my fingers will be chilly still!
Hope everyone that wasn't feeling well is feeling better. That Vickie O gets well after her surgery and complications too.

I figure if I keep repeating it, it'll come true. Ahhhhhhhhh, I'm feeling better already. When the shower warms up, it'll be perfect! I'm feeling kinda grundgy because I lolled around yesterday in my robe and didn't shower. But I AM going to work today. Can't afford to lay around today! Don't need the unscheduled leave on my record.
I hope to hear sometime in the next week or so about the jobs I put in for around the country. Hopefully I'll have interviews. I need to find my old CDs that had my files on them from when I worked in the PMs office so I can get examples of my writing. I'll need to have them to show the interviewers. Sorry, positiver affirmations. I am the writer/editor and I am great at my job. I am the writer/editor and I a great at my job. (Think I'll get the hang of this?) I've been listening to podcasts from Hay House about bringing affluence into your life. Believe it and it will happen. I'm still listening and just beginning to tell myself that I'm affluent, successful, and healthy! No negative thoughts, it just brings the universe into your live the wrong way!

I am in my second year as a board member of the local chamber of commerce and I am so excited about the Chamber of Commerce banquet tonight. The company I work for has been nominated for mid-sized business of the year. So my day today will consist of work, hair appointment and then getting ready for the banquet. I hope we win!
