Are any food off limits?
the only thing I know for sure that is off limits, at least for awhile, is carbonated drinks..
There are other foods that should be put off for a cpl months or so...just bc they tend to be harder to get down... like alcohol , some ppl have trouble with salads and chicken too.
Just follow ur surgeons instructions on when to add in new foods..
Take it slow.... and see what u can actually eat....we are all so different.
For me, I can eat anything..unfortunately...but there are some things that just dont do well... starchy things like breads and potatos....i have to really limit....of course, they are high in carbs too, so I dont want to eat so much anyway...but they make me feel bloated when I eat them...it doesnt hurt, just uncomfortable.
Its a learning process..finding what foods agree with ur new system...and what doesnt..
Good luck

There may be foods that are off limits because they cause *you* issues.
Ive had several food intolerances that come up and go away. Bread with meat, lasagna, tomatoes, high fat foods, milk, fruits, etc. they either didnt sit well or left me feeling icky. But, it not that "you have the VSG you cant eat X food," its about listening to your body and what it says.

Eh, a week or so. It depends on how bad the reaction was. I threw up on chicken nuggets a few months ago and I refuse to try them again
