Happy Weekend Folks!

Anyone else fart so much more post-op than they ever did pre-op? I mean... I am always farting! Aaaaaaaand the thing about them is: they feel so good! Haha! Like it's so relieving to let one go nowadays! Whats up with that? Haha!

Am I the only one?

Y'know... I don't fart much at all anymore. And when I do, they're little ones. I don't burp much either. Weird stuff.

Current weight: 170 lbs.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.

Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet. Start date 9/13/10.

I am only 6 days out from surgery and I don't fart at all, but I burp a lot.... I have been to the bathroom for #2 yesterday and today, so I know the bowels are moving but no farting yet. I did fart a lot more than before when they did my lap band, so it may be a matter of time before it starts again with this surgery.
And you're right, it does feel so good to let that air out, relieves the painful pressure in your stomach!! :)

I am just the opposite. since surgery, I dont release much gas anymore. I actually
thought about it and I am grateful.

I was a champion before surgery.....Too many crappy foods did it.....(especially ice cream). Now I really havent had many since being home....Taking Prilosec....maybe the gas comes up instead of down!!!!
