Good evening to all...

I will be having my sleeve on Monday.  I know that walking will be my exercise until I'm cleared after surgery.  I would like some ideas of the types of exercise that you all LOVE to do.... I really want to find something that I can LOVE and it works..

Ideas please....:)

Thanks

Jane

SPINNING IS THE BEST!!  A 45 minute class burns about 40 calories and it's great for your legs and abs.  I am addicted to it!!!

GOOD LUCK!!

I thought that 45 minutes of spin burned more like 400 calories, not positive though.

I'm new here and pre-op, but two years ago I started working with a personal training. We do strength and resistence training. While I didn't lose any weight, I feel so much better, so much stronger and I LOVE it. I love that feeling of using my muscles and the high I get after a good workout. Find someone that fits your personality and goals. Mine is laid back, but can be a little pushy here and there when needed. Love her.

Pilates Reformer - to get a great core and lengthen muscles.

Running helps to get rid of the fat which is covering those lovely muscles !

Body Combat & RPM classes - quick calorie burns, great music, great for mental health & just plain good old FUN !

To start running I followed the couch to 5k programme (c25k) -you can find it online or there are apps on the iTunes site.

Good Luck
