I made THE decision today!

 Felt like this was the appropriate place to share it first.

I AM GOING TO DO THE SURGERY!

I've been about 75% sure but after a revelation in therapy today I have decided to do it.

I have the opportunity to dramatically change my life for the better, *I* have that key. Why am I just sitting here thinking when I can make a difference!

On another note, I called to check out the status of my package at the surgeon's office and she told me she already sent it off! So send vibes my way, please, that I get the approval in the next week or so!!

Congrats I know how overwheling it may be at first, I was so SCARED but i started doing my research and decided on the Aleeve I was going to get the Lap Band But boy Im happy Im getting the Sleeve Im scheduled for April 25

congratulations!!!!!  it's a hard decision and one of the hardest things sometimes (for me anyway) was taking the power to do something.  best, best, best of luck with your ins co.  hate 'em, but i got approved so anything is possible!!!!!

Congratulations! You won't regret it.  I had a lot of trepidation about WLS, and I'm glad the whole process took 6 months from beginning to end.  During that time I came to terms with myself and understanding how the surgery would affect me all the way around.  It sounds like your journey has also been a revelation.  It was that way for me.

 Yay! I know I was a spastic wreck the week I decided to go for it.. it's a huge decision to make! I calmed down and got into the groove pretty well, you will too! Yes, you will make a wonderfully positive change in your life by doing this, congrats!
