High Protein/Low Volume Drinks... Can anyone remember the brand or make a new...
Hi there-- someone a couple of weeks ago had suggested an online resource for high protein drinks in a very low volume (like, 3 fluid ounces for some of them). Does anyone remember what those drinks or the website are called? I can't remember or find the post but I think it started with a B or a P... vague, I know!
Or, can anyone suggest the type of protein drink they use that is low carb or carb free, high protein and low volume?
I've been using a soy-based protein shake from a local health food store (GNC) and mixing with unflavored unsweetened soymilk, but unless I run the blender (which I'm sometimes too lazy to do since I don't have a dishwasher and don't feel like taking the darn thing apart to get the clumps out!) it's sometimes REALLY clumpy. I use a shaker container that's specifically made for protein shake mixing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Emily

I know you can get those protein "shot" kinda drinks at GNC... Just saw them last Friday. Wal-Mart carries one, too.
As for regular protein shakes, Premier Nutrition makes a good pre-mixed chocolate shake (@Costco). I like Designer Whey powdered mix... But blend it with my Bullet. I have read that some of the medical grade protein powders stir in a little better, but I don't know brand names.

I like the Jay Robb Whey protein powder in Vanilla or Pina Colada. I haven't tried Chocolate. It has 1 carb and 20 grams per scoop. I've put it in 4 oz skim milk before. It's a little too sweet for my taste though in 4 oz

...though she be but little, she is FIERCE...

Thank you very much for the suggestions everyone-- I ended up finding it online. It's called Profect by Protica, has 25gm protein in 3oz, 0 carbs, 0 fat, and can be found: http://www.protica.com/store/
It looks a little pricey, but I'm willing to try it. I've ordered the sampler packs and am using a discount code PR15 to get 15% off the order.
I'll let you all know how it is when I get it!
Thanks again,
Emily
