Frisco-Crab Cake Lunch

Yup..... I'm thinkin of getting brave and trying my own with our San Francisco Dungeness Crab !!!

I haven't had true Maryland Crab Cakes before.....bet they are awesome!!!

ya know at Costco you can buy jars of fresh picked crab meat to use to make your own crab cakes. We have fresh dungeoness crab up here too but if I get it and pick it, i am gonna immediately eat it and not make it into any ol' cakes. But shrimp or tuna cakes are good and you can controll the filler.

Love East Coast crab cakes! I also miss "steamer clams" which no one in the Midwest has ever heard of!

I agree with you, Frisco, the Whole Foods crab cakes have a bit too much filler in them. Kroger crab cakes are the same way. I'm making salmon patties tomorrow and gonna try adding some Parmesan and falafel mix instead of the crackers. Should up the protein and cut the carbs!

Okay..everything you post looks delicious, to the point where it looks fake, lol. ^5 at paper plates, I'm a big fan.

This is how we roll in Bawmer Hon! Those are all LUMPS of sweet Maryland Blue crab....Whole Foods didnt stand a chance!




dPS...Each one of these bad boys is 8oz! And they cost about $13 each...worth every fricken penny!
