Is it normal to get a gas bubble 6 days out?

I've not had much gas since surgery but I coughed a minute ago (sheer pain and terror) and now feel like I have a gas bubble under my left rib cage.

I thought all the gas was gone by now?

You are swallowing air - with everything you eat and drink - so yeah - gas goes with the sleeve.  Walking helps - so do gas X strips.  Good luck!

I had horrible gas pains in my shoulders around day 7 or 8 when I went for a walk. Felt like i was carrying 100 pounds in each arm.
