Great Dr. visit today.....

So this morning I went  to see my OB/GYN..she has not seen me since pre VSG.  My last visit to her was after I had a had a uterine biposy, which came back with some cells that were abnormal(not cancer), but cells that were overly stimulated by to much estrogen..  The first contributor to this was most likely my obesity. As we all know , fat cells produce estrogen...  I also  just had several miscarriages  and just ended a long term relationship. I was a mess !!!
 

So when her nurse calls me from the waiting room. I start to walk towards her and she looks at me, and says OMG look at you...you look amazing....Everyone in the waiting room looked at me.  I started laughing...so we get in the exam room and she starts asking me all kinds of questions.  She just keep saying you look great.  You not only look thinner, but you just look so happy.  You were so sad ...you just look like a new woman... This was so great to hear.  Not that I looked that bad, but that I look like I have a new outlook on life.

Then my doctor comes in.  She said almost all the same things.  She was so happy for me. The most important thing is that she confirmed that losing over 70 lbs has lowered my risk that my uterine issues would become cancer in the future....Woo Hoo !!!!  I almost cried.

On a funny note, she agreed with me that my boobs are gone....HA HA

Everyday that passes, I am SOOOOO greatful that I had this surgery...It has given me my life back !!!

There is nothing better than a good visit with a doctor.  The health advantages to the sleeve are just phenominal.  I'm so happy for you!
