How do you celebrate your losses?
The one I was using was from over a year ago and it definitely was not chlorine resistent! I had to put a swim shirt on underneath it just to avoid spillage! It was too loose and that definitely impacts the way you workout but I was determined to get back to my water aerobics classes.
So 56 lbs less w/VSG and probably 100+ lbs less since I originally bought that suit, I purchased a brand new one and it was a size 32 instead of the original size 42 or 44! Thank God because almost 3 months ago there is NO WAY I would have fit into a size 32 swimsuit!

When we are use to using food as a reward it is extremely hard to switch gears. This is something that I have gave a lot of thought to because I want to make sure I replace that behavior with positive choices. These are things I have come up with:
New article of clothing, shoes, or any accesory
Facial
Pedicure
new lotion or make-up
new item for working out (video, weights, new bike seat, etc)
movies
nature walk or explore new place
new app on my phone
camera items for better pics while on my nature walks
.....you get the idea, find your non food enjoyments and use them to your advantage. Most these things didn't give me the satisfaction before WLS, mainly because I was depressed. I am getting my energy back and not depressed any more so any of these things give me the satisfaction and help with replacing the need for using food as a reward. Hope this helps.
