Yay for 12s!

Despite having TOM come visit, I was able to fit into size 12s yesterday.  AND they were skinny jeans.  AND, they were loose on my legs!

I have NEVER been a size 12 misses.  I went right from size 14 husky boys, to some AWFUL mens jeans, to size 14 misses (my mom had no taste in the clothes that we bought for me).  I'm trying to remember when I was first in size 14s... I think it was 6th or 7th grade?

I find clothing sizes really weird now.  The brands really seem to vary in their sizing.  I wear everything from a medium to XL, and 12 to 16.  The bummer is that my tummy is really holding me back from smaller sizes.  I definitely see plastics in my future (I'm thinking 2 years after I reach my dream weight?). For sure, I see spanx in my future... I'm holding off from buying them until I reach goal.

Great job on getting into 12s; that is an amazing NSV! Also, just my opinion but I wouldn't wait on buying and wearing a spanx type garment under your clothing. I have worn one since I was pre -op and all throughout post op and I swear  by it. I can't afford the Spanx brand (maybe like you, at goal) but I use the Assets brand at Target. I wear the spaghetti strap black tank looking thing daily and it doesn't roll up like other tanks. It is amazing and I swear has helped me tremendously!

I am not far behind you. I am wearing a belt for my size 14's to keep them from sagging! I know what you mean though about sizes. Yesterday I was wearing a 1x top and today a medium!!
