Anyone getting close to goal, and pulling your hair out? LOL

This freaking stair step losing in the end is just about making me insane. I can see the pattern, I know what's happening, but it does not make it any easier to process.

I will lose like four or five lbs in a stupidly short period of time (like two days), then gain back two. Hold on to those two for a week or two and then do the crazy drop and  two pound gain again. I know I should be happy b/c the scale is going in the right direction, but man I just want to GET TO GOAL already LOL

Just a silly vent I know, but sometimes I have to write things out and get a reality slap from my fellow sleevers to know that I am "normal" :)

I'm totally a stair step loser.  I'm more used to it now, but it still gets on my nerves sometimes.  I lose several pounds over the course of a few days and then stay the same for 2-3 weeks.  I do nothing different in that time frame.  Same water, carbs, protein, etc.  And yet that's the loss pattern I have.  Such is life.

I'm 7 pounds away from surgeon's goal and 17 away from my personal goal.  I just want to GET THERE already.  Losses are slower now that I'm further out.  But I keep chugging along.  It's not a race, but I sure would like it to be!

All we can do is stick to the plan.

I have lost like that all along, but it is more pronounced now that I am nearer to goal.  I know it has got to get here sooner or later, but it is taking its own sweet time.

I feel you.

My Doctor says I am at her goal, but my personal goal is lower. I want to hurry up and get there because I am sick of low carbing-I don't plan on adding junk but I want a 1/2 apple or fruit cup so bad. I just want to get to my goal already.

I'm not as close as you are, but I'm a stair-step loser all the way.  Personally, I think it's your karmic punishment for losing 1/2 pound a day for like 30 days in a row while I was agonizing over my constantly stalled scale.

Seriously, I think working out really hard makes the scale bounce around a bit more because your body is depleted of water immediately after working out hard, and then stores water in the muscles while they are healing, and then balances itself out again.  That's just my personal speculation -- I notice that I bounce more when I work out harder, but then I get a huge drop.

Hang in there, you're our inspiration, ya know?
