update on breast cancer

 Hello, I had my lumpectomy and a lymph node taken out on Feb 10th. I'm sore! but feel good, did gain a couple pounds from the anesthesia, thank god is has come off!!! Tomorrow I get results of lumpectomy and lymph node, alittle nervous but ready!!!! This weight loss has kept me very happy!! It's a great distraction!! 

I will pray for good results!!!! Don't worry!!!

Sending prayers and positive thoughts for negative lymph node and clear margins!  I went through the same thing in September (1.4 cm, grade 1 tumor with 1 cm clear margins) and negative node.  I know that my cancer treatment would have been harder to handle had I not had WLS and lost weight.  I did the high dose radiation for a week and am for all purposes healed and cancer free - will be on tamoxifen for 5 years.

 Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers! Good news! No cancer in the lymph nodes and a clear margin around the tumor taken out! :). Now just need to start radiation.
