My mind is playing tricks on me because yet again I  have not lost weight for two weeks.  It is a bit frustrating to think that this is what my damn body is going to do to me....lose for a week then don't lose for two weeks.

I would appreciate a little feedback on my menu please?  Can you look at what I've planned out for today and give me a little support/ideas?

You are doing fantastic - Don't stress.  A few things to keep in mind:

1.  Everybody loses differently - some straight line, some stair step, some lose all their weight on every other friday after a waxing moon.  Its all unique to your body.  I started stairsteppping after hitting about the 50% mark.

2.  Your body occassionally needs to catch up to you.  The faster its changing, the more it needs to do this.  Every time I get frustrated with the stair stepping, I try to hear my surgeon in my head "You are doing great, keep it up, keep the calories below 600 and the wight will come off".  I am sure your surgeon would say the same to you.

Everyone at my center tells me, drink more water and exercise a little more.  Thats their recipe for breaking a stall.  Like surgeons, it seems everyone has their own way of doing it.  Just stay on your plan, take a deep breath, ,and you will keep losing.

Your diet plan looks a little different than mine, and it doesn't even look like you are eating all you are allowed.  I don't think you are doing anything wrong - its just frustrating.  Take a deep breath.  IF you have a support group meeting you can go to I'd do that.  That always bolsters my confidence and sense of accomplishment.

dont stress about it... stick to your surgeons plan, get out n walk or whatever exercise you do... the body takes breaks n then loses...over n over again.
i found the only way i lessened those slack weight loss times was through my extreme walkin.

As many of the Vets have said on here in the past, it takes about 3500 calories to gain 1 lb of fat.  Unless you are eating more then that per day, you are not gaining fat.  Water weight will fluctuate so just let your body do what its going to do.  Just stick to your plan.

Im not a dr. and still have not had surgery but maybe your body is going into starvation mode since you are not consuming all the calories allowed?  And you didn't note your water consumption.  Are you drinking enough water?  If i were in your situation i would probably add another 100-150 calories to my day getting me closer to that 800 every day.  I did notice that every day for that past few days you had an anywhere from 200-250 remaining calories.Hope that helps.

I am jealous that you are able to get that much protein from food.. I cant, it would make my life alot easier!!!

Anyway, your diary looks great. Alot of vets on here say to push water, so maybe just keep triyng to push 80oz+ of water (I sure cant).

Good luck, btw, your weight loss is excellent, I wouldnt be worrying at all!

You're doing great. Lots of people lose in a stair step fashion, lose some, stall, lose more stall. You won't go into starvation mode, your body is just adjusting, and water weight is so ugly. I hate it, but even in maintenance, I bounce up and down 3-5lbs every day.

Just stick to plan and know that you aren't doing anything wrong. Your body is sorting all this out.

Be kind to yourself!

Your diet looks great! I am going to assume you get in your water and vitamins too right? You and I weighed just about the same at our high and you had your surgery a week after me and have lost a little more, so I would say dont stress, you are doing AMAZING!! Sometimes your body needs a little time to catch up! :)

So now, I need to step my game up and get to where you are!
