except for pattys and keo's, every item on that list I have had weekly. Elena's has a lunchwagon (well several) and is active in the lunchwagon gourmet scene. Loco Moco's and Zippys are literally feet away from my workplace and Leonards has a cart about a 1/4 mile from me. Honestly, the only thing on your list I am hungry for is manapua. And I rarely ate the bread anyway. it was alyways about the meat.

My Miss list...
-Grace's Chicken Katsu
-Yotteko Ya tonkatsu Ramen
- Prima Kailua: anything they make is fricken amazing
- Roast Pork, Rainbow Drive inn
-BLVD Saimin
-SPAM Period!

And a shout out to my buddy at "da ala cart". Kushi-yaki.......*sigh*

I'm gonna give you a few tips....follow them and I promise you it works out.....

- Thin truly feels better than food tastes,,,,,
- Get to goal first than test your tolerances.... you will be able to eat some of those foods again....I would eat most of them except the full on pure white carbs. Sure a little here and there......but by the time your at goal.....it is all worth it....
- Always....Always...under eat your sleeve capacity. In the big picture your ultimate goal is to develop long term healthy habits and preserve your restriction.
- It will take you about 6 months to a year for your head to get switched up to your new normals.

We all are in the same boat.....We all got so fat that we needed surgical intervention.....We need to get un-fat and re-establish a new relationship with food/eating. The VSG is a great tool.....work with it, not against it......

this is pretty cool. someone asked me to post our grocery bills since we are a two sleeve household with no kids. i cant figure it out due to paying in different ways and different stores. but it seems like its still quite a bit. Maybe because we don't get pasta, rice and potatoes and fresh fish, grass fed beef and crab are not cheap. oh well. life is so much better who cares. diane

I was just telling my buddy about this, I bought a whole chicken at Ralph's on sale for $3.80, I put it in the crock pot, with some carrots, onions and spices, that chicken lasted 7 meals, oh I had to make a few more veggies latter but that's well under a dollar a meal.  (took me 4 days, two days it was lunch and dinner.... )

I was cleared for all foods last Thursday (almost 4 months out), I ventured out to an old favorite sushi bar with my buddy and the same order I had two weeks before surgery, as my last supper, with my same buddy.   I'm sure It was a bit too much, in the one tuna wasabi roll, I had and a few edamame but to be completely satisfied, full really, for $9 at a sushi bar, felt like a great deal to me... (first time for rice or any starch since surgery, I forgot that it expands...opps)

Thanks for the idea about the one trip to go boxes in the all U care to eat places, LOL loading up on some favorite proteins, for the Food Saver is an awesome value and a great idea...  Heck the one trip prices are even less....  Who would have thought with rising food prices, a sleeve would be such a great equalizer....
