Ok I'm 14 days post-op and not hungry. I feel like I have to force everything down. I feel full of energy for a few hours and then I have to take a nap. I can't wait to feel normal again. I don't even enjoy water like I used to.  Does this get better because I'm ready to snap!

Me too! I trot around the house showering and getting ready, then I need to go down for a nap. Then I'm up for a few hours feeling great, then another nap.
I guess it's not just my tummy that's "like a newborn baby" lol.

And yeah about the eating. What a reversal from me 16 days ago! I used to worry about having "enough" food, now I worry about getting enough "in". I'd be perfectly happy on 4 or 5 tiny bites a day. And all my good drinking habits went right out the window the day I got sleeved. All my yummy little tea packets taste so flat and chemically sweet - yuck. I've started diluting Trop 50 and "Light" cranberry juices instead of "diet" just trying to do better.

Thanks for your input. At least I'm not feeling like I've gone nuts anymore.

 Thanks Doggz109. I needed that.

I know, I am over the sweet stuff too!  What a change in two weeks.

Boppie - I am feeling exactly the same way.  When I have the energy I think "wow I should go back to work today" then a short time later asleep in the recliner for a nap.  Food is a complete chore.  But I keep pushing on....

Don't worry!! I was just there (I am 4 weeks post-op) and it gets WAY better!! I am realizing I still have a problem getting water down - very weird - but I am having a MUCH easier time with energy and getting other liquids in! I talked to my Dr.'s office and they said the anasthesia can make people tired and even a little depressed for 4-6 weeks. Just keep listening to your body, take your naps, there's nothing wrong with that!! As long as you are still getting back up and out, you are doing just fine!!

Hang in there!!
