 I find thats happening to me - I would rather run on cross-training days.  WEIRD!

How did I become this person that LIKES to run!

My interest in running comes and goes. Sometimes I'll really be into it and then I'll a couple weeks and not feel like doing it at all. I think by signing up for a 1/2 marathon I kicked my motivation up a notch. But, I might need reminders to REST!  What a weird problem indeed

What's a cross training day?  Meaning what does that consist of?  If it's not a cross training day what kinda day is it? Cardio? Something else?

Sorry for all the questions just trying to get my terms correct.

Cross training is doing some other sport/activity when i'm not training/running. I'm training for a half marathon but I can't run 5-6 days a week wihtout risk of injuring myself so I do other things to keep up my cardio/strength without running.

 Today is the another week 3 run in my Couch-to-5k program.  I may do it at lunch - I can't wait to get outside!

Today I'll probably hit the gym after work.

But yesterday... yesterday I worked it out!!

Went walking with my walking group for 55 minutes.

Then hit the gym. I tackled the elliptical for 35 mins. Followed by the recumbant bike (light effort, just winding down) for an additional 20 mins.

Today I'll probably hit that elliptical again, do some strength training and if I have time I'll wind it down with a lil more recumbant cycling.

I didn't work out yesterday. I saw the Chiropractor in the am and he suggested I take a day off.

I have karate tonight.

Today I am 7 weeks out! I have walked 5 miles this morning and I plan on another 2 miles this
evening when it cools off some outside.
