I walk everyday but I was wondering how long do we have to wait to do situps? It has been 5 weeks since my sleeve.

Thanks guys

I just went for my 3 week appointment last week and got cleared for cardio and light weights.  He told me to wait another couple of weeks for abs because he wanted to make sure everything was healing up okay.

You're doing better than me with the walking!!  I'm not doing it every day but try to get in a minimum of 3 days a week working out in the gym.    GOOD JOB!!!

My doc said 6 weeks for ab work.  I've had to take it pretty slow.  I think I'm even weeker than after having the kids, especially my lower abs (no clue why).

I had a C-section and have zero abs. My RN told me to do some planking. We shall see lol

I waited until 3 months out before I did sit ups.

you don't necessarlily need to preform situps to begin working your stomach.  if you are cleared by your physician you can begin by simply contracting your abs in a seated or lying position.
