Passports

Ok Im going to Jamaica in 2 weeks and it just dawned on me that Im 117lbs lighter than I was on my passport picture and 2 weeks isnt enough time to get a replacement. Has anyone had any problems with not being recognized on there passports since loosing weight! Im really getting in panic mode

 they looked twice (I was about 75 down) and I just said "I've lost a lot of weight" and it was fine...maybe take a couple other IDs with you? Do you have any smaller sized pics?

I'm going to St. John and plan to take some boat trips to the BVI.. I have my card and DL, they are used to people's appearance changing (the cards are good for 10years, they expect change!) I don't really forsee a problem that cannot be explained with the truth.. I had surgery, I lost 140lbs, I look different now.. Just make sure you have a valid DL that has your same name on it, and I think we will both be fine!

Keep in mind, folks fly for plastics- facelifts.. I don't think it will give you any issue, other than maybe a second look.

I was down 110 lbs when I went to Mexico for vacation and no one said a thing!

thanks Jp2lose thats makes me feel a little better, Im so excited and need this vacation that I dont want anything to go wrong! 

I do have smaller pics but not an ID so I think I will just go get a current ID

Take a certified copy (the one with the seal) of your birth certificate and a picture ID like a drivers license and you should be ok.  Take your passport too just in case

If you're comfortable with it, take some kind of documentation about your surgery - ie: Insurance or hospital invoice.

When I go on my vacay, I will use my passport. I will not get a new one until it expires. LOL! My DL has almost the correct weight and pic.
