 Sending lots of prayers your way! I have to say...i was terrified of surgery and pain, but it was a lot of wasted energy - it was nothing like I imagined. The worse part was gas - but actual incision/surgery pain was very very little. (after gas, the worse part was falling and pulling the deep stitch - soooo dont do that :-p)


You're going to be at goal in like..2 minutes :)   Can't wait to follow your progress  but for sure, you have done very well already !

I knew I was making the right decision the whole time, but I also felt scared the day before. I can't really say what I was scared of-- I understood the risks of surgery, but really was not worried about anything bad happening. I told my husband, family, friends and therapist, "I believe I am making the right decision, but I am scared right now and nothing will change that." I think it's just a necessary evil. You will be fine and wonder what the heck you were scared of in a few days. Best wishes!

Just wanted to wish you an easy surgery and fast recovery.  Don't worry
about pain because they put you on morphine thru your IV that you
control with a "clicker" right next to you.  I had hernia repair along with
the sleeve and I didn't need it hardly at all.  Most of my pain was from
the hernia repair. You are gonna do great.  Don't worry about a thing.
I can hardly believe your day is here. By the way, what is your last name?
