 Road bikes are a hot commodity in DC.  They don't lose value much at all.  The cheapest I've found a decent road bike in my size so far is $500 and I can get a new one fitted for me at around $800. . . I don't want to have to buy 3 or 4 bikes, I'd rather just get one I know I can race in.

 Man I so want to just start!  I tried the couch to 5k program, even downloaded the app Ruggie gave me.  Ended up in pain - and pinched a nerve, so now my left foot is always asleep.  Still working with doc on that one.  She doesn't want me running til they figure it out.  I still have numbness, but a lot less (or I am so used to it now lol).  I want to finish a 5k - even if I walk.  Then I want to do a run.  Then I want to do a Color run, cuz I like the idea of getting colorful!  lol

 Take up hiking!!!!  I havent been doing as much running as id like because of knee issues, but hiking is really strengthening my legs and hips and still giving me a good cardio workout. Even though my actual running miles are low, i dont feel like im losing as much fitness as I would otherwise. 

I'm doing an 80's run in Pasadena i think 9/1/12 - you should join me!!
