Nectar protein drinks

I have been testing different proteins and I have tried 4 flavors out of the 11 in the sample pack for syntrax nectars and so far I don't like any of them. The fruit ones smell good but have a very gelatin smell and taste and I don't like jello so that grossed me out. The non-fruit (double stuffed cookie and chocolate truffle) I mixed with almond mix and I couldn't get passed the protein smell, my step son drank them. I like unjury's chocolate protein powder with PB2 (powdered peanut butter) to make a choc/pb shake and unjury's chicken soup is my all time favorite. I drink it almost everyday, I would drink it more then once.

I've tried two flavors of it so far:  Crystal Sky (supposed to taste like tropical punch) and Double-Stuffed Cookie (supposed to taste like oreos0.  Didn't care for the former, but the latter was DELISH.  I also like Unjury Chocolate Splendor and Amplify (both vanilla and chocolate). 

You can buy Syntrax Nectar sample packs at BJ's Bariatrics online.  You can even pick out the 11 flavors you want.  That's what I did, and it was $20 after shipping.

And, just FYI, I found that any protein powder is kinda "thick" once mixed in, even with water. :(

syntrax nectars r GREAT!!! http://si03.com/reg_index.htm ... call the 800# and they have a sample pack... 14 flavors for $14, free shipping... u won't like them all but my husband and I each found 3 we like and 2 or 3 others that we're tolerable...with the fruit ones we generally add extra water (20-24 oz total, instead of 8-16) and mio flavoring and u really can't taste any protein and they r nice and thin... the choc i do with skim milk and a tbsp of PB2... tastes like a resse's cup!

I bought the fuzzy navel big tub before I realized I could get the sample pack.  I really don't care for it and haven't used it after the first try.  I also bought a sample pack and really don't care for the nectars at all.

I LOVE the unjury chocolate splendor with milk or almond milk and PB2.  That is my favorite and the texture is smooth.  I put ice in it and use my ninja.

I have never really liked them. I do drink them occasionally but I find the taste is very "protein".

 I don't like any of the fruit flavors but love the chocolate truffle, I mix it with water/ice & pb2. I drink it every am. 27 grams of protein. 

 Hi - so far I like "new Whey" orange/one capsule in 16 oz water with LOTS of ice .
 42 grms Protein/2 Carbs....no blender just stir nice and clear. Pure Ptotein Frosty Chocolate RTD  isn't too thick when ice cold and shaken well.

I bought two big tubs of the nectars, crystal sky which I LOATHED and wasted the whole rest of the tub, and strawberry which if I plug my nose I can stomach but it is SO sweet and just not my favorite.

I found the syntrax mint cookie and cookies and cream flavors to be WONDERFUL, thanks to someone on here posting about them!

I also like unjury unflavored protein to mix into a sf chocolate pudding.

DEFINITELY ORDER SAMPLES!!!! mybariatricpantry.com has a great sample pack of matrix 2.0 flavors...I have liked every one I have tried so far, even ones I didn't think I would! Keep trying different ones till you find one you LOVE. Apparently, you don't have to plug your nose and shudder every time you drink your protein! who knew!? LOL

Order the samples, but personally, I have been drinking the chocolate truffle flavor 2 or 3x a day for almost 4 yrs!

Thanks to you all for all of your input, it was quite helpful. I still have not decided if I am going to buy the sample, for reasons that a lot of you stated that didn't quite enjoy it. I would rather get all of my protein from food, but I know that that is not going to be possible, at least for now.  Thanks again
