I am reviewing my post op food list and it says I need to have a clear or translucent protein drink. So I got one my NUT recommended Super Protein Shot in Fruit Punch and its horrible. Do you have any that you used that were okay?
Okay I was thinking Isopure but wasnt sure. I will get some of that. I have friend that did the surgery years ago and she says there is one that taste like chicken soup. When she figures out the name I will share it here. Thanks ladies.
The syntrax nectars counted as clears on my plan. They are very, very tasty!
Syntrax has to be ordered online, as far as I know.
However, Isopure (though I think it tastes yucky) is much easier to find. GNC carries it in the store.
Vitamin Shoppe has a limited selection of Nectar flavors...I had the Chocolate with almond milk the other day and it tasted like chocolate milk. It completely dissolved and wasn't grainy at all. It was pretty tasty. I hope I like it after surgery!
