ROFLMAO. My husband and I have this conversation regularly (HEB is our major store here and they don't do rain checks that I know of), but the coupon conversation.

See, he thinks we should. So I say, "go for it because you do most of the shopping" but the coupons are almost always for boxes/cans which we don't buy much of.

*I* think it's not worth the time it takes. The store has in-store coupons and if it's something I'm buying anyway, I'll grab one, but I just don't know that it's worth the time to gather, figure out and use coupons.

I'm own a bookkeeping firm so I guess I think of everything in terms of dollars and my hourly rate is way more than we'd save by clipping those damned coupons. LOL.

Having said that, freaking Fage is expensive, so I probably would have stopped in for rain checks for sure

Yeah, hijacking and rambling... typical Candy crap.

I do this all the time. Did it pre-op with sodas.

Fry's recently had 10/$10 Chobani... and with the Chobani coupons I had that were like .55 cents off, they match it up to a $1... which meant FREE!!! Made sure to get rain checks on those as well :)
