For Peeps in WL Mode-Trends

Some people may lose faster, but I'm in it for the long haul.

Highest 303.4, Surgery 263, Current 217.8, Goal 180
OK...I tried 3 times to add my 2 here...but as I kept reading my response before I posted...I was afraid I'd upset some folks in our corner of OH, and deleted it...so I'm just gonna say this: I may be new, but I feel sad when people play games with their plan and ask everyone to tell them it's OK. Easy to say at 2 months out...but that's just me.
And Elina...I ALWAYS smile when I read anything you post! As I said before...you help make this journey a positive one for me!!

I'm kinda thankful for those "experimenters" b/c it helps to make it SO much clearer that being as perfect as you can right from the beginning is the way to go!! I rely on advice from the people who have been successful and I use the posts from people who have regrets from not being strict right from the beginning as a deterrent to help me stay on track and keep my eyes on the prize!!
At my one week post op visit I basically told the Nurse that I was gonna make it to goal...she looked at me like I had two heads and said only 1% of bariatric patients make it to goal...and I flat out told her..well then I'm gonna be in that 1%! and I can not wait to prove it to her!! lol
THANK YOU VETS!!
Wait, what? You mean I could have done less work and came out at the same place? UHH, no.
Work your asses off at the start people, when **** gets real and you can eat more the chances of getting off those last "few" pounds are almost as good as they where with the crash diets you tried before WLS. Not trying to be a downer, but I can tell you from my honest experience that if I was not at goal now, with the amounts I *can* eat if I let myself, there would be no way for me to get there now.
It does not get easier, it gets harder. Push for what you want early on, and push hard.
And I am not just saying this b/c I am evil and want people to not eat gummy bears and jellybeans.........or maybe it is?????
I wanna see the rest of that costume....... the red spiked pumps?

You know me TOO well! I just looked though my pics and didn't get a head to toe in the version I wore to the grownup costume party. I do have my Rocky Horror pictures, but I don't know if I can even post them here without getting in trouble
I am still shocked that I was going to wear that outfit in public (the show got canceled b/c of the storm BOO!).
