What kind are you using?  Just a plain old Oster, Ninja, Magic Bullet ect?  I am looking to buy a new one.  I am afraid the 25 year old Oster Blender might not survive the pre-op diet phase.

I bought a brand new blender, haven't used it yet. Been using my immersion (stick) blender every day. Plus it came with a blending cup, so i just drink my shake out of it. It's also good for pureeing foods. Easy clean up.

I use my magic bullet most of the time-it helps me keep from making my shakes too big and is also great for pureing small amounts of soup, and finely chopping herbs and other stff. Quick, and easy to clean. I do have a ninja which I use for larger batches like when dh decides he wants to join me for a shake, but its just too big for most of my daily tasks and takes more cleaning..

i bought a ninja and magic bullet...prefer the ninja because when i fix a shake, my grand daughter wants a drink also, so i fix her a slushie, she loves the black cherry torani flavoring...it chops things super fine...(mushy phase of diet) got at walmart for $28

Pre op and post op I have used a magic bullet! Love it. Was told an immersion blender is good too but mine died a year ago and haven't needed it. No need for pricey mixers just my thought.
