Sunday is usually my day to make what I am going to eat for the week. I usually make two things and I portion them out for the week. I wake up Sunday morning browse through my litany of low carb or bariatric recipes and find something that sounds good, go the the store and come home and make it. Today I am completely tapped out on brain power and looking throug recipes did not pan out. I need your help.

I can't eat chicken, I don't want eggs for lunch and I think my blood has begun to turn into chili. So any suggestions?

Right now I am leaning toward a philly cheesesteak bake, but any ideas would be good.

Hi

How about meatballs, meat loaf, and meat sauce.  I have made stea**** for a meat meal with some onions and that was yummy. And beef stew in a crockpot with some carrots and onions.  I also like turkey sausage.

have fun cooking!

I also was going to recommend a meatloaf...I made mine and before I cooked it...rolled it into 3 oz balls. Cooked them and froze balls individually. I know you like the creative stuff...and that may be boring...but I'm still at the "basic " stage. I hope to get more creative soon

Imitation crab salad made with light mayo and dill.  Im only on my 4 th week out and cant eat chicken breast causes sever pain..  I can't have onion or celery in my crab salad but its good. You can also warm your imitation crab meat and dip in melted light butter it is also very good.  My tummy has no trouble with this.   I bake fish in the oven with a little light butter and some seasonings.  I do not like fish that much but its the only thing right now that goes down and does not give me tummy trouble.  Also just made some imitation crab puffs.   I lined muffin pan with pastry puff not eating them just using them to hold the mixture.  low fat cream cheese mixed with chopped imitation crab meat with a little stevia mix and put in center of pasty cup and bake 350 15-20 min.  I make nine individual pastry cups when warm they are great.  JUST REMEMBER DO NOT EAT THE PASTRY CUP JUST FOR LOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Hope this recipes helps.  Im going to try to make teriyaki skinless and boneless thighs this week and see how i do.  I will let you know.  Can you not tolerate chicken at all or not like it.

might want to check the ingredient list.nutritional stats on your imitation crabmeat. not being real seafood it is likely a lot of crap, just saying...

That sounds delicious but far too many carbs for where I am right now. I was eating greek yogurt with honey and some high fiber bran ceral, but my carb counts at the end of the day were too high.

My daughter ended up making me spaghetti squash with marinara and we had tilapia last night. I will need to add some protein all week long, but I think I have enough squash to make it through the week. I like the idea of making the sauce with turkey. Thanks for the suggestions I will try them.
