Any newbies use a nutribullet to make very low carb veggie juice?

I did this on the preop liquid diet.  I added the protein powder to the juice used very low carb veggies  I was wondering how sleeves might handle this postop.  Not sure about the raw fibers but I thought it's a way to get veggies in easier. (such as spinach, cucumber, celery and broccoli)  Anyone try this?  How did digestion go and how did your sleeve tolerate it?  I may wait 2 or 3 more weeks post op to try.  But I'm sure missing veggies.  It's like I feel healthy losing a little weight but not healthy not getting veggies.

I am trying to decide which surgery to go with as I have diabetes... but I was also wondering the same thing.  I love to juice, I love to eat veggies and eat healthy.  I'd love to hear other people's experiences and thoughts on this.  Thanks for asking.

I have heard that the surgery does help most ppl that are diabetic.  But yes. I don't know the answer on the veggies.  I really want to give them a try if I can stomach them.  But I'm really new post op still so I'm leary.

the sleeve will help with diabetes, but if you have it more than 10 years  , it will probably not go away completely according to my surgeon

I had the DS surgery. the day after surgery I was off all diabetic meds and my blood sugar hasn't been over 130. I am no longer a diabetic.

Whenever your diet clears you for raw veggies go for it. Make sure you are meeting your protein goals...

Count your carbs.......

I would probably put more effort on learning how to make veg based sauces with the bullet to moisten proteins so your eating wetter meats.(food lube)

Yeap I think I figured if I do celery 1/2 cup and cucumber 1/2 cup it's only 4 carbs.  But if I do a combo of spinach celery cucumber and brocolli it could be between 6 and 8 carbs.   (1/4 cup each veggie)  I know your a vet Frisco, How many carbs do you stay under a day?
