You Don't Even Look Like You

My favorite NSV yet. I saw someone this weekend that I haven't seen in over 5 years. She looked at me like she kinda recognized me but she wasn't sure. Then when it clicked she came over to me and said "You don't even look like you!" I assume that is a good thing.

lol...it is fun.  I have a co-worker that constantly teases me and will say "Who ARE you?" all the time!

That has to be the best NSV...total transformation!!! Congrats

Kind of depends. If you were really good looking before...it could be a bad thing.

LOL I love it! I had that happen last week too. Someone I hadn't seen since before surgery walked past and did a huge double take and her jaw about hit the floor. Her response was "OMG you look so different!" of course that was followed by an "I hate you!" said with a smile and a wink in fun since she is obese and has many health issues. But it didn't bother me. I knew how she meant it. I'm hoping I can be an inspiration to her that anything is possible.

I have had people start telling me it's fun to watch me melt.

I had one of these moments on Saturday.  Standing at the checkout line, waiting for them to get a price on something not ticketed.  A gentleman I haven't seen since before surgery, walks up behind me, I see him coming, and don't say a word, after about 2 minutes, I finally asked him a question about a common event in our lives, he looked, answered like he still didn't know who I was and then, said.. oh my god.. you look great, did you lose weight or something?   LOL  I said, yeah or something.. I changed my hair. 

I get that all the time. My surgeon even said it the last time I saw him!

I can't blame people for saying it, though. I mean, I am LITERALLY less than half the woman I used to be.  :)
