I reached 100 lbs today but....

Coming close to my 9 month surgiversary on the 28th and today I weighed in at 155. Which means I am down a total of 100 lbs since I started my weight loss journey. However, this morning I had my 9 month vitamin levels and other labs done and I am so puzzled with some of the results. Mainly the lipid panel...turns out my total cholesterol is high by 1 mg but still high, my LDL is also high 113. Before getting sleeved, I had no issues with my cholesterol. My phosphorus is also high (borderline) and my iron in low which explains why I have been feeling sluggish. I have appt with my surgeon on the 28th and I guess we will discuss all this. I am just a little puzzled!! But I am super happy that I have reached the 100 lb loss and maybe reaching goal before or by Nov.28....

Congrats on the weight loss!! That's so great!!!

I am sure the dr. will redraw some of the labs to include fasting, if they weren't.

Keep us posted

Congratulations on losing the `00!

Re your labs, your doctor will look at the whole thing and sort out one against the other.  That's what always happens with my labs, at least.   Someone already raised a good point about your test -- did you fast appropriately beforehand?
