Being emotional recently has me crying at your words. Thank you for sharing this - we really can do anything with enough supportive people surrounding us. Best wishes. You are going to do great the next six months.

Im a little over 2 years, and still have the same fear and anxiety - granted, I never reached goal, so I should be afraid, but I think itll be apart of me forever. I have to make a focused effort to focus on the positive, to stop and think about and list the postive changes I have made and why I am not the same person I was 200 lbs ago - that helps calm the fear and anxiety most of the time.

I'll give you a hug soon!!

Yay!  I can't wait to get a hug from you!

I started making a list in my head of the positive things I've done, the positive changes.  Why is it so hard to come up with things?  I think I might need to write them down when I'm in a good head space, so I have something to refer back to when I feel like this.

I almost felt the same way after my surgery.  I was going to the office monthly at least for NUT appointments and after surgery I had a 10 day follow up and I have an upcoming 2 month follow up (more like 2 1/2), then I will have a 6 mo. and 1 year follow up followed by annual follow up appointments.  It is scary but we do have this and we can do it on our own.  I'm looking forward to being in your shoes and I will continue to go to my support group meetings so I can stay on top of what's happening in the world of bariatric surgery.  Congratulations on 105% EWL, that is AMAZING!

I think I need a lot of support and a lot of accountability.  I've come to rely on these appointments with him, his pride in my success, just the overall feeling I got.  I need new accountability or maybe just more faith in myself.  We are all figuring this out together :)
