Very common..... the most common question I get.

First "no your not doomed" there are a couple "special ones" that make that assumption.

At or around 6 months WL can slow for most and stop for some.

It really is a time to re-group and make a plan for the second six months.

"Most" that have their WL come to a crawl or stop...... are on a 1000-1200 cal program.

Just don't buy into the "increase your calorie" thing. In most cases reducing cals or increasing activity is the key.

Hope this helps....

Hope you read my post correctly..... not saying to increase calories.

If your at 800cals. just stay there and ride it out.

Just finished a 4 week stall. It's common. Eventually body will adjust and scale will cooperate.

I have stalled for 3.5 weeks than gained 5 lbs than lost 8 lbs. Now I am in another stall. Who knows how our bodies will adjust to weight loss. I just enjoy the ride when I lose and keep on plain when I don't. The weight will come off I just have to keep using my tool ( my sleeve). Some weeks I don't lose anything but I lose inches so I work with that and it's okay. My first stall upset me so much I wouldn't eat any carbs. I only drink protein shakes for 5 days I still didn't lose any weight. The next week I went back to eating protein at meal times and walked 30 more mins. drink 96 oz. of water a day the weight lose started again. I fine sometime I have to change things up. I am going to try using weights this week. I will let you know how it goes.
