I posted last week that I had late stage ovarian cancer. Apparently, my PCP jumped the gun on this diognosis. While there was a very large mass growing off my ovary, it has proved to be benign. I do have to get more info back from the lab. That will take two weeks. I just got out of the hospital after having the mass removed. I weighed 153 before I left for surgery and weigh 140 this afternoon.

Wish me luck on this last test.

If this one passes then I'm all good!

BTW, I will be having a long hard talk with my pcp in the very near future.

So does that mean that your PCP gave you the impression you were dying, and now it turns out chances are you'll be fine?

I am SO happy to hear this (although not as happy as you are I'm sure!) I'm glad you're having that talk with your PCP... what a terrible thing to put you through!
