Does anyone know how to add your own food to the database in MyFitness Pal?

There are two ways to do it.  If you have a food label to add, e.g., a store-bought food that's not already in the database, click on My Foods, or, if you have the latest version of MFP on your phone, they have a new barcode scanner that will do it for you instantly.  If you have a recipe to add, click on Recipes.  Both are available at the top of your Food Diary page.
