10 months post op

Well, its 10 month since surgery, and I weighed in this morning at 201 pounds.  This is unbelievable for me.  When I started the WLS process I was 385 pounds and I had the hope that I might weigh below 250 pounds.  I'd see people post about getting to One-derland, and I'd think that would never happen for me.  Well, guys I'm within 2 pounds of One-derland, and I am so grateful for WLS.  It feels surreal.

I still have weight to lose in my belly.  I'm thinking I'll use my belly to determine when I'm done. I am only 7 pounds from reaching the "overweight" BMI - that's my program's goal for me.

WLS a powerful tool.  It doesn't make the weight loss easy, but it makes it possible.  I am so happy with my sleeve and my new health and energy.  If you have been struggling with obesity, consider WLS.  It really works.

best wishes,

Carol

All the best, Katy

Carol-

You are right-  WLS does not make weight loss easy, it makes it possible.  For all of is, it is not easy but obviously we could not do this before.  Congratulations on a remarkable weight loss and journey!

Hi Carol,

That is so great and congratulations to you! You have worked so hard and you are so super supportive in every post I have read! You deserve so much to feel proud of yourself for your accomplishments, that's an extraordinary amount of weight in a good time period! I'm so proud of you, I hope that doesn't sound condescending, it's not meant that way! I know you will reach all your goals!  Keep up the great work!

best wishes back and lots of smiles:),
