I have a $20 digital Weigh****chers scale that I got at K-Mart, but I've seen at other stores like this that works great. I've had it for two years and it's consistent and matches my doctors scale, lol.

I got a weigh****chers scale last week and really like it

I got it at Good Will ,brand new for $2.50 what a bargain

I seems to match weights with my gyms thousand dollar , state calibrated scale (they do weight lifting contests)

Its close enough for me , a few lb 1 way or the other means nothing it is the trend that matters

Skip the bargains and get a Fitbit Aria.  Best buy has them but probably others also.

whatever you do, get a scale that measures body fat.  You'll appreciate that more when you get near goal.  Eventually, your weight loss will peter out, but a scale that tracks body fat percent will let you know your still making progress until you reach the point where even body fat has no more to loose.  Weight loss won't be noticeable much in that final phase because a single pound could be a whole percent of body fat by then.

wow! I wasn't even considering one that measures body fat! I thought it was gimmicky and probably didn't really work?!  I will definitely look into now! Thank you!

I agree that a scale with more than just weight. I love my Tanita Ironman. In addition to weight, it measures %fat, % water, muscle mass, BMR, bone mass, and metabolic age. My 54 yr old hubby is now 33 after losing 50 lbs and getting to goal.  It adds extra motivation.

I purchased my Tanita more than 20 years ago.  It measures body fat and still is accurate and gives me the same weight as in the doctor's office.  I agree that measuring body fat will be very helpful through all of this journey.

I've had a health o meter digital scale for years now.  It allows you to program in your height so your bmi will be measured correctly. Plus it's can program in different users so my husband has his own tracking info.  It measures your water, remembers your starting weight etc. It's great!
