I hope that, wherever you are, the weather is as gorgeous there as it is here.  I feel like Spring has finally arrived!  (Allergies have arrived too, but I'll take them if I get sunshine as well!)

I've had a great morning so far - today is my first day of solids and the "rest of my life" diet.  I'm supposed to start with softer things for the first two weeks, though.

B: 2 ounces smoked salmon, 1/2 ounce cream cheese. I only ate about half before I was done.
L: Probably more smoked salmon and cream cheese
D: FroYo Protein Popsicle
S: protein shake with 2T Benefiber, 1 dose Miralax, 1/2T collagen

Vits: 1 of 4
Water: working on it
Exercise: rest day!

I'm flying home tonight.  I'm not sure why, but being on the airplane makes me very snacky.  I think I have a good plan in place, but we'll see.

B - Chike

S - greek yogurt

L - chicken meatball (buffalo style) & carrots

S - clementine & string cheese (for on plane)

D - not sure...  I might whip together a spaghetti squash lasagna bake.

S - Maybe a quest bar or protein shake -- I have a hockey game tonight and will need to refuel afterwards

E - hockey

W - on track

V - later -- I have been missing these too often lately.

I keep reading this as "PB2 bagel" and thinking that a peanut butter bagel with chicken salad sounds sort of gross.  What is a P28 bagel?

HA!  Yeah Gwen - a peanut butter and chicken bagel would be disgusting!  P28 is a high protein/lower carb brand of bagels and flatbreads that the nutritionist at my local grocery store pointed out.   They add whey protein to them to increase the protein but there's still plenty of carbs in there!  Which is why I only have 1/4 or 1/2 one a couple times a week.

I would NEVER have eaten them in weight-loss mode and only bought them as an experiment since I started this extreme exercise class. The other drawback is that they are VERY expensive.  The bag of bagels was around $8

I put the link up there so you can take a look at them.  Will I keep using them after this initial bag is gone>  Probably not because of the cost.  They haven't spiked cravings in me yet, but I'm going to stay alert for that.

Thanks for the info!  That sounds so much better than what my brain was conjuring up.

It sounds like a good experiment.  We can't know unless we try, right?  Sad that they're so pricey.
